Committees

The WLA is governed by a 14-member Executive Committee, comprised of lottery CEOs from around the globe. Also among the members of the WLA Executive Committee are representatives of the five regional lottery associations, ALA (Africa), APLA (Asia Pacific), CIBELAE (Latin America), EL (Europe), and NASPL (North America). The Executive Committee is backed by five supporting committees namely: the Audit Committee, the CSR Committee, the Security and Risk Management Committee, the Illegal Lotteries and Betting Committee, and Betting Integrity on Sports & Horse Racing Committee.

Executive Committee

Among other duties, the WLA Executive Committee supervises the administration of the association, approves the budgets and financial statements, and determines the structure and course of all member services.

Supporting Committees

Chaired by highly qualified lottery professionals, the five supporting committees make up the foundation of the WLA's member services and support the WLA Executive Committee in establishing association policies.
