The ELITE terminal provides an improved retail experience for customers, while offering retailers speed and ease for processing documents. With around 2,200 ELITE terminals deployed in LOTTO Niedersachsen’s retail network, the total number of ELITE series in operation in Europe and North America is over 70,000 units, which demonstrate Carrus’ capacity to implement, integrate, and maintain leading edge solutions in the lottery industry.

“This project once again demonstrates our ability to come up with innovative solutions and take up challenges, to support the dynamic activities of LOTTO Niedersachsen.” said Timothée Carrus, CEO Groupe Carrus.

Axel Holthaus and Sven Osthoff, the CEOs of LOTTO Niedersachsen said: “The major investment in the new terminals is a clear commitment to our retail network in Lower Saxony, which account for around 70 % of LOTTO Niedersachsen's total stakes. The requirements for the hard- and software of lottery terminals have changed significantly over the last ten years, so that the old devices had reached their limits. The latest generation of terminals from Carrus is state-of-the-art and meets the latest technological standards in every respect. We are thus positioning ourselves as modern and innovative in our stationary sales.”
