June 11, 2020 – INTRALOT S.A. is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of its US subsidiary INTRALOT, Inc., has appointed Byron Boothe as Chief Executive Officer. He will assume day-to-day leadership of INTRALOT, Inc. and continue serving as a Member of the Board. Boothe, a lottery industry veteran, has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company since 2019. He had also served as Vice President Government Relations since joining the Company in March, 2007.

Veikkaus to reduce slot machines double the number planned in 2020 – slot machine opening hours limited and protective measures against coronavirus introduced
Veikkaus has made significant reforms to further improve the responsibility and security of gaming. By the end of the year 2020, there will be ca. 40 percent fewer decentralized slot machines than in January 2020.
With the new solutions, the company enables secure service experiences to those who, for example, have problems playing slot machines. Veikkaus has also adopted measures to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.
COVID-19 has impacted global lottery and gaming businesses in more radical ways than one could have really planned for. The business continuity aspects have been handled with work-from-home, migration to cloud and similar measures but the impact on revenues is unimaginable.
