Regular Members
WLA Regular Members are organizations licensed or authorized to conduct lotteries and/or sports betting operations by a jurisdiction domiciled in a state recognized by the United Nations. Sales of games of chance and/or skill must account for the majority of the organization’s total annual gross revenues, and the majority of the organization’s net revenues must be dedicated to the public good. Applications for WLA membership must be approved by the WLA Executive Committee, at which point applicants are provisionally accepted into the association. Regular membership remains provisional until it is ratified by the delegates of the WLA’s biennial General meeting. The next General Meeting will be held in October 2022.
The three new members provisionally accepted by the WLA into the association are:
Varelotteriet, Denmark
Founded in 1887, Varelotteriet is one of Denmark's oldest lotteries. Varelotteriet was originally established to support artisans and craftsmen in Denmark. Today they raise funds to support a wide variety of social causes in the country.
ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH, Germany
Headquartered in Munich, Germany, ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH has been providing sports betting services to the 16 state lotteries of Germany for more than 20 years. They operate around 15,000 points of sale in nine out 16 of Germany’s federal states and are accessible online at www.oddset.de and on mobile devices. ODDSET prides in their safe, reliable, and transparent gaming products and strive to heighten the passion for sports in Germany.
Lottomatica Scommese, Italy

Associate Members
Associate membership of the WLA is open to any supplier of goods or services to state-controlled lottery or sports-betting operators, whose business practices are compatible with the aims and objectives of the association. Applications for associate membership must be endorsed by at least two WLA member lottery or sports-betting operators and receive final approval from the WLA Executive Committee.

Founded in August 2017, China Gaming Technology Co., Ltd. (CGT) is funded and wholly owned by the China Welfare Lottery Issuance and Management Centre and is approved by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. CGT is committed to the China Welfare Lottery industry, providing operations, data management, technology R&D, and other services to create a platform for professional, reliable, and innovative technical support, and think-tank resources.
