The event aims to share knowledge and facilitate the exchange of experiences of state lotteries from around the world, and will provide practical guidance to help lotteries develop their broader Responsible Gaming programs (RG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in order to create value for operators, society, consumers and others.

A packed agenda

Specialists in responsible gambling, lottery leaders and industry professionals will discuss latest issues and trends, strategies, and propose best practices to prevent gambling problems.

A CEO Panel debate entitled RG Certification: The evolution, advantages and going forward will be moderated by Lynne Roiter, Chair of the WLA CSR Committee and WLA Secretary General, and include panelists from the African, European, Latin American and North American regional lottery associations.

The audience will gain useful insights into the certification process from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) RG Advisory Division, and learn useful tips from a case study provided by Loterias CAIXA. CIBELAE will present on the approach and work of its CSR and JR Committee which has produced Guidelines for drafting a responsible gaming program and Social Responsibility Framework.

A lottery panel predominantly from Latin America, will discuss its experience of WLA RG certification and WLA will also present a tool that has been developed to assist lotteries in the RG level 2 certification process.

As part of the seminar, the First Regional Meeting of Women in Lotteries will also be held with the participation of representatives of the WILL program Women in Lottery Leadership.

In addition to responsible gaming, other topics will cover a presentation from the United Lotteries for the Integrity in Sports (ULIS); marketing and new betting trends; digitalization and online gaming, as well as presentations from key industry suppliers.
