It is well known that conventional real-world retail outlets provide the bulk of a lotteries sales, the recent advent of Internet and online sales notwithstanding. Understanding the retailer model and its advantages and shortcomings is therefore of primary importance to everybody engaged in the lottery business. In this lively and engaging debate, four experts in retailing and sales from leading lotteries will provide a detailed examination of the retailer model. Two speakers will present arguments in favor of the motion, and two against, with each speaker having a maximum of ten minutes to make their case and to rebut the opposition's arguments. The remaining twenty minutes will be used by the moderator to introduce the speakers and set the stage for what promises to be a lively and entertaining discussion.
