LAGTECH, a Lagos State based Lottery Company and technical partner National Sports Lottery Plc (NSL) has recently contracted with Garron Lottery Products of Baltimore, Maryland to provide mechanical drawing equipment. The high volume Nigerian contract includes 11 lotto machines, all to be used within Lagos State in a new marketing concept this fall. Delivery will begin in September.

With the LAGTECH/NSL contract, Garron brings the VISTA, a gravity pick, rubber ball lotto model to market.  Per Garron’s CEO, Michael Ruane, “The VISTA enters the gravity pick drawing machine sector at a competitive price point, with well proven technology and attractive design. Our clients tend to be very informed consumers. The value inherent to our fabrication approach, testing and service philosophy appeals to them.”

The LAGTECH/NSL purchase also includes Garron’s TITAN air mix lotto model. The diamond shaped TITAN has been supplied to: Commonwealth of Dominica, National Lottery Uzbekistan, and the US lotteries of Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, South Carolina and Texas.

The Sierra Leone State Lottery has selected Garron’s SKIPJACK single digit model to launch Pick 3 in early 09; October delivery is planned. The model’s compact footprint, design features and competitive value were attractive to lottery management. The SKIPJACK has also been supplied to El Dorado Lottery of Nigeria, and the US lotteries of Connecticut, Texas and Virginia.

Per Linda Turner, Garron’s Sales & Marketing Director, “The West African contracts and the recent contract with Pronósticos of Mexico represent the growing interest among lottery executives worldwide. We’re very encouraged by the momentum gained since expanding our international sales program in January. Garron Lottery Products is attaining widespread notoriety as a reliable and value oriented supplier.”

Garron Lottery Products has supplied 14 US lotteries and operations in Egypt, Guatemala, Leeward Islands, Malta, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Saipan, and Uzbekistan.
